Design and Build
The Bluedee BD-SK010 sports a slim, futuristic profile measuring 16.4 inches wide, 2.6 inches deep, and 2.6 inches high. This compact design is intended to fit neatly beneath a computer monitor, minimizing its footprint on the desk. The enclosure is constructed primarily from eco-friendly ABS material, with the manufacturer stating that 85% of the speaker is made from this recycled plastic, complemented by a small amount of metal. The overall build aims for a balance of lightweight durability and a modern aesthetic.
A defining visual element is the integrated ambiance light strips. These gentle lights run along the speaker, complementing its avant-garde design and intended to add a touch of elegance to the workspace. The speaker is finished in black and features a mechanical knob for volume control. For cable management, Bluedee includes a nylon-braided Y-cable that combines both power and audio signals into a single cord, promoting a tidier desk setup as claimed by the manufacturer.
Performance and Features
Audio Quality
According to the manufacturer’s specifications, the BD-SK010 is equipped with dual drivers and dual diaphragms. This configuration is designed to deliver a harmonious blend of high-pitched notes and deep bass, creating a HiFi stereo soundscape. The speaker incorporates anti-magnetic technology, which is stated to eliminate static interference for a crisper and more immersive audio experience. The maximum output power is listed at 15 watts. It’s important to note that, as a compact soundbar, the bass depth may not match that of larger speaker systems or those with a dedicated subwoofer.
Connectivity and Power
Connectivity is a strong suit for this soundbar. It offers two primary methods: Bluetooth 5.0 wireless technology and a standard 3.5mm auxiliary input. The Bluetooth function provides a cable-free connection to compatible devices like smartphones, tablets, and computers, with a specified range of up to 10 meters. The 3.5mm aux-in port ensures compatibility with a wide range of devices, including older computers, MP3 players, and gaming consoles. Power is supplied solely via a USB connection; the speaker can be powered from a laptop, desktop PC, power bank, or USB wall adapter. This USB-powered design means there is no built-in battery, requiring a constant power source for operation.
Key Features
Beyond audio, the standout feature is the relaxing ambiance lighting, which is integrated into the speaker’s design. The mechanical knob offers tactile control over volume. The product is described as a plug-and-play device, requiring no additional drivers or software for basic operation. The specifications list it as compatible with computers, MP3 players, smartphones, and tablets, and it is suggested for uses including computing and gaming.
Setup, Support and Ownership
Setup is designed to be straightforward. Users simply connect the included nylon-braided Y-cable to the speaker, plug the USB end into a power source, and connect the 3.5mm audio jack to their device or pair via Bluetooth. The manufacturer emphasizes the plug-and-play nature, with no drivers required. The product packaging is stated to be made from eco-friendly cardboard, aligning with the company’s eco commitment.
Bluedee offers an 18-month manufacturer warranty from the date of purchase. The company also promotes a lifetime after-sales service policy for technical support and queries, which can be accessed via Amazon messages or the contact information provided in the user manual. Specific details regarding firmware updates or accessory options are not listed by the manufacturer.

Who Should Buy It (and Who Should Skip It)
The Bluedee BD-SK010 is an ideal choice for desktop PC or laptop users who are constrained by desk space but want a significant audio upgrade over their built-in speakers. Users looking for an easy, driver-free installation and those who enjoy the added desk ambiance from subtle lighting will find this soundbar particularly appealing. This speaker is not the best fit for users seeking room-filling, thunderous bass or for those who need a completely portable, battery-powered audio solution. Audiophiles requiring high-fidelity sound for critical music listening may want to look at more specialized systems. Similarly, individuals who prefer a completely minimalist desk without any lighting effects might find the ambiance lights unnecessary. Final Verdict
The Bluedee BD-SK010 successfully fulfills its role as a compact, design-conscious audio enhancer for the desktop. Its strengths lie in its straightforward USB-powered operation, the flexibility offered by dual connectivity, and its space-saving form factor that doesn’t sacrifice sound quality. The added ambiance lighting and eco-friendly construction claims are thoughtful touches that align with modern user preferences. For its intended use case—providing rich, clear stereo sound for everyday computing tasks in a tidy package—it presents a compelling package.
While it won’t replace a high-end 2.1 or 5.1 speaker system for dedicated home theater or music production, it stands out as a superior alternative to standard built-in speakers. The lack of a battery is a minor trade-off for its simplicity and consistent performance. Overall, the Bluedee BD-SK010 is a well-executed soundbar that offers tangible improvements in audio quality and desk aesthetics, making it a solid choice for the majority of home and office computer users.
