Design and Build
The Vonesse chair presents a modern aesthetic with a solid back and a green/black color scheme, fitting a typical gaming setup. Its construction centers on durability, with the manufacturer stating the PU and carbon fibre leather upholstery has undergone a 25,000 Martindale rub test for wear resistance. The frame is metal, providing the structural integrity needed to support the advertised weight capacity. The chair’s substantial size and rectangular shape are designed to accommodate a range of body types, though its footprint may require consideration for smaller rooms.
The wingless seat design is a notable ergonomic choice, intended to provide ample space for users to shift positions or sit cross-legged. The rounded armrests and tapered leg style contribute to its contemporary look. High-density resilient sponge is used for the seat material, which, combined with the advanced pocket spring cushion technology, aims to prevent sagging and maintain comfort over time. The overall build suggests a focus on long-term use in an indoor setting.
Performance and Features
Ergonomic Adjustments and Comfort
The chair’s performance is defined by its range of adjustments. The backrest reclines smoothly and can be locked at any angle between 90 and 160 degrees, allowing users to transition from an upright working posture to a near-horizontal lounging position. This is complemented by the retractable footrest, which adds a significant layer of relaxation for gaming or breaks. The chair height is also adjustable via a gas lift, and the base features 360-degree swivel casters designed for quiet movement on both hard floors and carpets.
Targeted Support Systems
A key selling point is the integrated massage function within the detachable lumbar support pillow. This feature is intended to target lower back tension during long sessions, though the manufacturer does not list specifics on intensity levels or massage patterns. The adjustable headrest provides neck and head support, which can be positioned to suit the user’s height. Together, these elements aim to promote a natural spinal alignment and reduce fatigue.
Cushion Technology
The pocket spring cushion is a standout feature not commonly found in all gaming chairs. This technology, typically used in higher-end mattresses, is implemented here to offer resilient, body-contouring support that responds independently to pressure points. It is tailored for gamers of all body types and is a core component of the chair’s comfort claim for big and tall users.
Setup, Support and Ownership
The chair requires assembly, which, according to user reviews, is manageable with the provided tools and step-by-step instructions, though it demands careful attention. The manufacturer emphasizes a premium after-sales service, including a customer service team ready to assist. Ownership is backed by a 30-day policy for replacement or refund and a 1-year repair service, offering a safety net for initial defects or issues. The product is a standalone unit with no listed upgrade or accessory options from the manufacturer.
What Owners Say
