Design and Build
The Now Mais FT0005BR-1 immediately stands out with its bohemian-inspired design. The centerpiece is the use of cane rattan for the two cabinet doors, which introduces natural texture and a woven visual interest to the piece. This is complemented by curved edges on the cabinet frame, softening its rectangular silhouette and enhancing the relaxed, boho aesthetic. The design is intended to add character to a room, moving beyond basic furniture to become a decorative element in itself. The brown finish and clean lines allow it to integrate with various decor styles, from modern farmhouse to eclectic.
Construction-wise, the stand is primarily made from engineered wood, a common material for furniture in this category chosen for its stability and cost-effectiveness. The manufacturer describes the build as “stable and durable,” with the inclusion of anti-tipping devices attached to the back panel being a noteworthy safety feature, especially important in households with children or pets. The hardware includes high-quality metal hinges for smooth door operation and metal handles that offer a seamless, modern contrast to the natural rattan. The overall impression from the specifications is of a piece designed to be both visually appealing and structurally sound for everyday use.
Performance and Features
Storage Capacity and Flexibility
The stand’s core function is storage, and it provides this through a combination of enclosed and open spaces. The two rattan-door cabinets offer concealed storage, ideal for items you wish to keep out of sight or protected from dust, such as gaming consoles, media boxes, or board games. The highlight here is the three height-adjustable shelves within these cabinets. This feature allows you to customize the interior layout to accommodate items of varying heights—tall speakers, stacks of game cases, or shorter devices—maximizing the utility of the space. The open shelves on either side of the cabinets provide immediate access and display areas for frequently used items, remote controls, or decorative objects.
TV Support and Weight Handling
With a width of nearly 71 inches, this stand is designed to physically accommodate televisions up to 80 inches in size. The top panel is rated to hold up to 100 pounds, which should securely support the weight of most large flat-screen TVs within that size range. This capacity makes it a viable option for modern home theater setups. The substantial weight rating, combined with the anti-tipping devices, aims to provide a secure platform for expensive electronics, addressing a primary concern for buyers of large-format furniture.
Cable Management and Usability
A critical feature for any entertainment center is managing the inevitable tangle of cables from TVs, sound systems, and consoles. The Now Mais stand includes a built-in cable management system. While the specific design isn’t detailed (such as grommets or rear channels), its presence indicates an effort to help users route power cords and AV cables neatly, contributing to a cleaner and safer final appearance. The user-friendly features extend to the metal hinges, which are noted for allowing the doors to open effortlessly, and the integrated handles that eliminate the need for separate hardware.
Setup, Support and Ownership
Assembly is described as easy, aided by step-by-step instructions and individually labeled parts packaged for convenience. This suggests a user-friendly unboxing and building process, which is a significant consideration for flat-pack furniture. As for long-term ownership, the product is backed by the Now Mais brand, though specific warranty details or support channels are not listed in the provided data. The use of engineered wood implies that, like similar furniture, it should be kept in a stable indoor environment away from excessive moisture to maintain its integrity. No specific accessory or upgrade options are mentioned by the manufacturer.
What Owners Say
As this is a newer product, there are currently no customer reviews or rating distribution data available. This means there is no independent user feedback on real-world assembly experience, long-term durability, or how the rattan and engineered wood materials hold up over time. Potential buyers must rely solely on the manufacturer’s specifications and claims when making a purchasing decision at this time.

Who Should Buy It (and Who Should Skip It)
The Now Mais FT0005BR-1 is an ideal choice for homeowners or renters who own a large TV (up to 80 inches) and are seeking a stylish, storage-focused entertainment center. It’s particularly well-suited for those who appreciate boho, rustic, or eclectic decor and want a furniture piece that contributes to that theme. The adjustable shelves make it excellent for users with a mix of media equipment of varying sizes who need flexible organization. It’s also a sensible option for families, given its included safety features like anti-tipping devices.
Conversely, those who prefer ultra-modern, industrial, or traditional furniture styles should likely skip this model, as its rattan and boho design is a defining characteristic. Individuals looking for solid wood construction for maximum longevity or who have concerns about engineered wood’s performance in humid climates may want to consider other materials. Anyone requiring extensive, specialized support for a complex AV setup with many components might find the storage layout limiting compared to more modular systems. Final Verdict
The Now Mais FT0005BR-1 rattan TV stand successfully combines form and function for a specific audience. Its generous proportions and robust weight rating make it a physically capable foundation for a large television and associated gear. The standout features—the adjustable shelves, cable management, and anti-tipping safety—address common practical pain points intelligently. The rattan door design is its defining aesthetic trait, offering a genuine bohemian charm that sets it apart from more generic media consoles.
However, the lack of user reviews means its long-term durability and real-world assembly experience remain unverified, which is a consideration for a significant purchase. On paper, it presents a strong value proposition for those whose style aligns with its design and who need versatile storage. It fills a niche for a stylish, large-format TV stand with thoughtful organization features, making it a compelling contender for living rooms and bedrooms aiming for a curated, organized look.
